I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at The Arbor Inn. The location was very convenient: just a short drive or a longer walk to the downtown area, and only a quick drive to Cannery Row. It made exploring the area really easy. The room was a little tight for three guests, and the bathroom was on the smaller side as well. While the water pressure and A/C weren’t particularly strong, the room did cool down nicely at night when we opened the windows. One thing I really appreciated was the cleanliness. I was a bit nervous based on some reviews. I spent quite a bit of time comparing hotel options before booking, and I felt this one offered solid value for the price. Overall, we had a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I’d recommend it to others looking for a clean, affordable option in a great location.
Room was very clean & more than adequate. Very close to the Del Monte shopping mall. Jay, at the front desk, was very professional & accessed my reservation with no problem. There is lots of parking & many spaces are nice & wide.
Very affordable hotel in Monterey. The rooms were clean, newer furniture, bathrooms remodeled, comfortable bed. Nice size fridge, small microwave, flat screen with cable and adjustable room air conditioner or screened windows. Parking is right. Ice machine outside. Walking distance to town.
I would say the place is ok, and it's a good value for money. But I was expecting a public restroom when arrived, before my room was ready, and after a long drive. Eventually, I was allowed to go into one of the rooms that were not yet cleaned. My room was clean and relatively spacious. Wifi worked ok, not that fast.
No complaints! Clean, quiet hotel with charm. Nothing fancy, but great for a night while I was driving through the area. Staff were nice!
The room and bathroom were clean. Check-in was quick and easy. Restaurants and the harbor can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. A good choice for a short stopover. Rooms a little outdated.
We stayed at the Arbor Inn for three nights and had a great time. It's really a bargain considering the location and size of the hotel. We were also pleasantly surprised at how much there was in walkable distance and ended up driving far less than expected while we were in Monterey. Highly recommend the Wild Plum cafe down the street!
